Interested in becoming a Opportunity Scholars participant?
Applicants need to meet one of the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a first-generation college student OR
- Meet specific income guidelines as established by the U.S. Department of Education OR
- Experience a physical or learning disability.
Services Opportunity Scholars Provides to Participating Students:
Bear Launch - A detailed orientation to the University
Ambassador - A sophomore, junior, or senior who serves as a student mentor
Grant Aid - Grant opportunity for Pell-eligible freshmen based on participationPre-
